Campus-Specific Admission/Graduation Requirements

     1,210 Undergraduates; 226 transfers (18.7 % Fall 2006).Fall 07 Admissions – 85% transfer acceptance rate (1,813
     applied, 1,556 were admitted). 93.3 % of admitted transfer students were from California Community Colleges.

     ADMISSION

• California Community College transfer admission rate Fall 2006: 87.3%

• Accepts transfer applicants for Fall and Spring. Spring applications are due by July 30 prior. Merced is on the semester system

• For Fall Admission, transfer applicants are notified of admission status between March 1 and April 30

• For Fall Admission, Admitted applicants must submit their SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) – to one campus only – by June 1

• For Fall Admission, official transcripts are due to campus by July 15

• For Fall admission, 60 transferable units can be completed by the end of the summer term prior

• All of the seven course pattern can be completed by the end of summer except Math and English courses, which must be completed by end of spring

• Fall 2007 admissions – average GPA of admitted transfer students – 3.11
