ADMISSIONS

• California Community College transfer admission rate Fall 2006: 73.5%
• Accepts transfer applicants for Fall and Winter quarters only
• For Fall Admission, transfer applicants are notified of admission status between March 15 and April 30
• For Fall Admission, Admitted applicants must submit their SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) by June 1
• For Fall Admission, official transcripts are due to campus by July 15
• For Fall admission, 60 transferable semester units must be completed by the end of the prior spring term. Highest admission priority goes to students who have completed UC eligibility, GPA, and selective major requirements by conclusion of the prior spring term
• For Fall 2007, Average GPA of admitted transfer students (middle 50 per cent) was 3.14 to 3.68

• Apply one year prior to transfer (Sept 4 to Sept 28)
• Must have 30 transferable units with minimum GPA as follows:     
  • Ag and Environmental Science – 2.8 or higher
  • Letters and Science and Biological Sciences – 2.9 or higher
  • Engineering – 3.1 or higher
